Craniosacral
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, noninvasive method of evaluating and enhancing the function of the craniosacral system. This manual therapy enhances the body’s natural healing processes. The craniosacral system consists of the membranes and the cerebrospinal fluid that surrounds and protects the brain and spinal cord. Some people who benefit from this massage may have chronic pain, eye difficulties, scoliosis, motor-coordination impairments, learning disabilities and other dysfunction on the central nervous system. Therapists use a light touch to assist the natural movement of fluid within the craniosacral system, which allows the system to correct itself.
